2025年11月21日，在四川成都举行的2025全球熊猫伙伴大会上，由新华社国家高端智库和习近平生态文明思想研究中心共同撰写的智库报告《携手迈向生态友好的现代化——习近平生态文明思想对全球可持续发展的理论贡献与实践引领》面向全球发布。
A report titled "Joining Hands to Advance Toward an Eco-Friendly Modernization — The Theoretical Contributions and Practical Leadership of Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization to Global Sustainable Development" was released at the Global Panda Partners 2025 conference in Chengdu, capital city of southwest China's Sichuan Province on November 21, 2025. The report was co-authored by the National High-Level Think Tank of Xinhua News Agency and the Research Center for Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization.

党的十八大以来，以习近平同志为核心的党中央从中华民族永续发展的高度出发，深刻把握生态文明建设在新时代中国特色社会主义事业中的重要地位和战略意义，大力推动生态文明理论创新、实践创新、制度创新，创造性提出一系列新理念新思想新战略，形成了习近平生态文明思想。习近平生态文明思想是习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想的重要组成部分，是马克思主义基本原理同中国生态文明建设实践相结合、同中华优秀传统生态文化相结合的重大成果，是以习近平同志为核心的党中央治国理政实践创新和理论创新在生态文明建设领域的集中体现，是新时代我国生态文明建设的根本遵循和行动指南。
2018年5月18日至19日，全国生态环境保护大会明确提出“习近平生态文明思想”。2022年8月18日，习近平生态文明思想研究中心在人民日报刊文，将习近平生态文明思想的基本内容概括为“十个坚持”。即：（1）坚持党对生态文明建设的全面领导，（2）坚持生态兴则文明兴，（3）坚持人与自然和谐共生，（4）坚持绿水青山就是金山银山，（5）坚持良好生态环境是最普惠的民生福祉，（6）坚持绿色发展是发展观的深刻革命，（7）坚持统筹山水林田湖草沙系统治理，（8）坚持用最严格制度最严密法治保护生态环境，（9）坚持把建设美丽中国转化为全体人民自觉行动，（10）坚持共谋全球生态文明建设之路。
【重要讲话】
今后5年是美丽中国建设的重要时期，要深入贯彻新时代中国特色社会主义生态文明思想，坚持以人民为中心，牢固树立和践行绿水青山就是金山银山的理念，把建设美丽中国摆在强国建设、民族复兴的突出位置，推动城乡人居环境明显改善、美丽中国建设取得显著成效，以高品质生态环境支撑高质量发展，加快推进人与自然和谐共生的现代化。
The coming five years will be critical to the building of a Beautiful China. It is important to thoroughly implement the thought on socialist ecological civilization with Chinese characteristics for a new era, adhere to the people-centered principle, uphold and act on the idea that lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets, and place the building of a Beautiful China in a prominent position of building a great modern socialist country in all respects and rejuvenating the nation. We should make remarkable achievements in promoting the significant improvement of urban and rural living environment and building a Beautiful China, support high-quality development with a high-quality ecological environment, and accelerate the advancement of modernization featuring harmony between humanity and nature.
