国家林草局近日发布通知，将22处湿地列入国家重要湿地名录。至此，我国国家重要湿地已达80处。
China has recently added 22 wetlands to its list of wetlands of national importance, bringing the total number to 80, according to the National Forestry and Grassland Administration (NFGA).
【知识点】
湿地是全球重要的生态系统之一，被称为“淡水之源”“地球之肾”，具有涵养水源、净化水质、维护生物多样性、蓄洪防旱、调节气候和固碳等重要生态功能。国家重要湿地是指湿地生态功能和效益具有国家重要意义，符合《国家重要湿地确定指标》，按照《中华人民共和国湿地保护法》等有关规定予以保护和管理的湿地。认定和发布国家重要湿地，是落实湿地分级管理，开展湿地保护、修复、管理的一项基础工作。
近年来，我国持续推进湿地保护修复，组织实施湿地保护修复项目3700多个，新增和修复湿地100多万公顷。我国湿地生态状况明显改善，全国共指定国际重要湿地82处、认证国际湿地城市22个、认定80处国家重要湿地和1205处省级重要湿地，初步构建起湿地分级管理体系。下一步，国家林草局将持续落实湿地保护法，着力推进湿地保护修复体系、调查监测体系和保护监管体系建设，不断提升湿地生态系统质量和稳定性。
