中国妇女第十三次全国代表大会10月23日在人民大会堂开幕。近1800名来自全国各行各业的中国妇女十三大代表和90名来自香港特别行政区、澳门特别行政区的特邀代表出席大会。

The 13th National Women's Congress opened on Monday in Beijing at the Great Hall of the People. Around 1,800 delegates to the congress, along with 90 specially invited delegates from the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions, attended the congress.

中华全国妇女联合会是全国各族各界妇女在中国共产党领导下为争取进一步解放而联合起来的社会群众团体，是党和政府联系妇女群众的桥梁和纽带。全国妇女代表大会，每五年举行一次，在特殊情况下，经执行委员会讨论决定，可提前或延期召开。

中国妇女第十三次全国代表大会于10月23日至26日在北京召开。其间，大会听取和审议全国妇联第十二届执行委员会的报告，修改《中华全国妇女联合会章程》，选举产生全国妇联新一届领导机构。
