A medical team from Jiangsu Province Hospital performs an ECMO operation on a 70-year-old patient in critical condition with the novel coronavirus in Wuhan No.1 Hospital, Wuhan, capital of Central China’s Hubei Province, on March 3, 2020. It was the fi rst such operation the team performed since they arrived in the city on February 14. The infected patients whom the team treated were all in serious conditions.
