有的城市，仗着年轻的资本奔向名为未来的快车道，很少回头看。
上海跟两者都不沾边。历史留给上海有韵味的建筑和街道，开放自由的城市气质，那是回望的底气；而迈向未来的每一步，勇气与思考各自的分量刚刚好。
如果未来是光，上海就是一个从容的追光者。
2018年，是中国改革开放40周年。上海在这40年中，是尝试者、探路者和领路者。上海的发展，也正是改革开放40年的缩影。11月5日，首届中国国际进口博览会将在上海举办，背靠40年的荡气回肠，而未来的精彩，才刚刚开始。

关键词一：合作
At the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in May of last year, President Xi Jinping announced the China International Import Expo, or CIIE, to be held starting in 2018.
国家主席习近平在2017年5月举办的“一带一路”国际合作高峰论坛上宣布，中国将从2018年起举办中国国际进口博览会。
This announcement marked a significant step forward in support of the trade liberalization and economic cooperation that would continue to open China to the world.
这标志着中国向支持自由贸易和经济合作迈出了重要的一步，中国进一步向世界开放。
The expo invites countries and regions from all over the world to strengthen economic cooperation and trade, to promote the economic growth in order to make the world economy more open.
进博会邀请世界各国和各地区参加，以加强经贸合作，促进经济增长，让世界经济更加开放。
关键词二：增长
China doesn't just have the world's largest population. It's also the second-largest economy and the second-largest consumer and importer. Now China has entered a new development phase in which consumption is continually increasing. This indicates enormous potential for growth in imports.
中国不仅拥有世界上最多的人口，也是世界第二大经济体和第二大消费国和进口国。中国现在已进入消费持续增长的新阶段，进口的增长具有广泛潜力。
Over the next five years, China expects to import goods and services valued at $10 trillion, providing a historic opportunity for enterprises across the world to enter the still-growing and huge Chinese market.
预计未来五年，中国将进口超过10万亿美元的商品和服务，为全世界企业进入中国这一巨大、并且一直继续增长的市场提供了历史性契机。
关键词三：智能
As the host city of China's first International Import Expo, Shanghai has incorporated various services at the airport and throughout the venue to streamline accessibility, engage with global visitors and introduce the numerous exhibits.
从机场的接待服务中心，到组委会的各种设置和展会安排，进博会提供了便捷又互动性强的查询方式。
关键词四：锦鲤属性
We all know that the panda is the national symbol of China but this particular panda is pretty special. His name is Jinbao and he's the mascot of the China International Import Expo. Jin is the first character in the Chinese word for import - jinkou - and bao means treasure.
进博会的吉祥物不是一只只会卖萌的熊猫，还有一个自带锦鲤属性的名字：进宝。“进”是进出口的第一个字，“宝”则寓意宝藏。
最后让我们在上海的市井间结束这次的世博会之旅。这座城市既有摩登感，又有烟火气；既精致考究，又接地气；既给人压力，也给人希望。
